formula one, as such is a good example of my skills
in model-making. |

Why an F1 Fuelling system? |

the unit was commissioned
by Eircell (now Vodafone) for their sponsorship
of the Grand Prix formula one season of 2000 and
a series of commercials which needed to be visually
exact in detail and gripping in their impact. |

the project
this is not strictly a product design project or
brief, however in terms of its design content it
had to be treated as such. the first step was to
research existing F1 fuelling equipment and then
create a visual replica of the equipment, which
had to be an exact match. this project had a heavy
model-making content, and as such is a good example
of model-making skills. |
